Gütersloh / Heidelberg, November 17, 2022 – Bertelsmann Investments has acquired shares in PAICON, a Heidelberg-based digital health start-up. Other fellow shareholders include the German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ). The investment is in the mid-seven-digit range.
Peter Koop, Senior Vice President Bertelsmann Investments, commented: “We are very pleased that we were able to make another investment in the field of Digital Health with our participation in PAICON. We will be investing even more in this area as part of our Bertelsmann Next initiative, and will continue to build and grow the promising Digital Health business segment for Bertelsmann.”
